I
WANT TO DOWNLOAD THE FILES! HELP! The easiest way to get these files for your very own is to click any file you want with the RIGHT mouse button. That is, the button on the right side of the mouse as you're looking at it while using it (assuming you know how to use a mouse. If not, please consult your manual); NOT the left button, which is on the left side of the mouse.
Using the RIGHT button while clicking is called a "RIGHT-CLICK"
in computer technical terms. Do not confuse this with a
"RIGHT-TURN". They are not the same thing.
When you RIGHT-CLICK, you need only click once. Not twice. Once. One time - One single click. You also do not have to keep the button held down. Simply push it down with your finger and let it right back up. You
can practice on this text... Save Target As... Look again at the picture of the menu above. "Save Target As" is the third item from the top on the list of choices. When you see that, you know you're well on your way to getting the file you want! When you see Save Target As... you want to click it, but THIS time, use the LEFT mouse button. We computer geeks call this a "LEFT-CLICK". (I know this is confusing, but it's the price we pay for technology) When you LEFT-CLICK on Save Target As... yet ANOTHER box will pop up! This is the "Save As" box and it is like opening a drawer on your file cabinet. From there, you can choose any place you want on your hard drive to store the file, BUT you should keep in mind that wherever you decide to store it is where you'll have to find it later, so store it where you'll remember where it is, like maybe in the folder titled, "My Documents". Make sense? Great! When you have chosen where to store the file on your computer with the "Save As" box, you then click the "SAVE" button in the lower right corner of the "Save As" box. When you click the "SAVE" button, it will download the file from this web site to your computer and store it wherever you decided you wanted to store it with the "Save As" box. After you get the file downloaded and stored, you can go to wherever you stored it on your hard drive and open it to read or print. For your convenience in using this page as a reference, here are all the files you will find on the previous page:
If you are still having trouble getting the files, please consider taking a computer class at your earliest convenience. |
